City Botanic Gardens in Brisbane
With a rich history dating back to 1828, this significant landscape is the premier recreational facility and public park in Brisbane. Boasted a mature garden with many unusual and rare species, and a restaurant, the City Gardens Cafe, the Walter Hill Fountain, both self-guided and guided tours and picnic areas. Tours are offered twice daily and the walk last about one hour, beginning at either 11am or 1pm. This gorgeous garden is also a popular lunch spot for the nearby business district and an amazing and popular venue for weddings. City Botanic Gardens is one of the most important cultural landscapes in Queensland, and definitely a must-see on any trip to Brisbane.
